Redesign of the Dyson DC15 User Manual. Thinking about the environment one might find a Dyson Vacuum, we immediately think of modern interior design. Clean, minimal, technical and modern. This was the inspiration for the design of the manual. Mapped out much like an architects blueprint would be, the manual compliments both the audiences aesthetic and the technical and modern design of the vacuum itself. Lines and geometric san serifs were essential for the outcome of this project.

My primary and only role in this project was as a calligrapher. Loblaws approached me to create a thin and elegant, typographic composition to envoke that nostalgic, Christmasy feeling. All in all, I illustrated the phrases "Christmas Food," and "Noël délices". My hand lettering was featured in a number of posters and video shorts that were a part of a nationwide campaign. As a disclaimer, I will say that I had no involvement in the production of the posters or videos. I do not claim to own them, they are the sole property of Loblaws.
